Since I've never had the pleasure of removing a HT740 I have a question; is there torque converter bolts to remove or is it simply a splined shaft...remove the bell housing bolts and it comes out? The V-730's I've taken out of transit buses just had a splined shaft. This is in a Seagrave ladder with an 8V92 driving it. The manual I have makes no mention of removal and I have looked for an access hole to get to T.C. bolts but don't see one. This truck has a fluid leak at the bellhousing 3/4" plug at the bottom. Thanks in advance.
