Does anyone have an aftrmarket number for a Federal Signal Littlelite bulb? The F/S number is Z8550250A. It is a small 5 watt bi-pin halogen. I could order one from F/S, but can probably get one for half the price locally.
Thanks in advance.

I do not know for sure but in the past when i needed them I had to just buy them from Fed Sig....
Does the bulb have any markings on it at all? If I remember they are not cheap... like 20 bucks each....

Try here: http://www.lightingdirect.com/1/1/34...ogen-bulb.html
This is where I get most of my bulbs from that FS thinks is proprietary. COO EDIT: It isn't exactly the same bulb, but it is cheaper, and is just as bright. Last edited by COO; 03-07-2010 at 11:59 PM. |

Check out a place like Lowe's or Home Depot. I've found them in the landscaping lighting areas.

Thanks for the help. I was going to try the local home centers, and when I did, I found what I needed for $2.98. Much better than the $20.25 F/S wanted.
COO, maybe we should by 1,000 of those bulbs from the website and sell them to F/S for $7.50 each. They would think they got a deal, and we would have extra beer money! (lol) Jon
